Gosh, I love discovering amazing new places to shoot engagement photos with my clients! Meaghan and Mike opted for a beautiful, rustic white barn in Sparks, Maryland to host their fall engagement photos. Even though the November weather was a bit brisk, we had a fantastic, fun-filled day adventuring around the farm and finding locations to capture the perfect photos, plus play with Meaghan and Mike’s adorable pup, Koha! (If you ask me, Koha definitely stole the show in some of these photos! He is a natural in front of the camera!)
Meaghan knew the location she wanted for hers’ and Mike’s engagement session from her babysitting days – one of the families she used to work with owns the farm. Between the white barn and beautiful vineyard on the grounds of the farm, I couldn’t have asked for a better location to explore for some gorgeous Maryland countryside photos!
I first met Meaghan and Mike for our initial consultation, and instantly connected with them both! They’ve been together for years after meeting online, and they have an obviously strong bond. Mike is an avid Flyers fan, so Meaghan had the great idea to incorporate Flyers jerseys into their engagement session as their third outfit change! They even brought along a collar in the team colors for Koha to wear during the shoot! Although I have to say, Meaghan’s jacket was my favorite outfit choice of the day!
Meaghan and Mike are such a sweet couple and are so fun to work with. They’re in the midst of planning their waterfront wedding at the charming Silver Swan Bayside venue in Stevensville, and I couldn’t be more excited for their big day to arrive! In the meantime, I’ll be over here hoping I’ll get to snap a few more photos of Koha on their wedding day!
