Casey and Nate tied the knot at one of my new favorite venues in Lancaster, the Cork Factory Hotel! Lancaster is quickly becoming a popular area for brides looking for rustic wedding venues. This place had everything – exposed brick, aged wood, and a completely open space with vaulted ceilings for their beautiful ceremony and reception. The little details of the wedding were perfect for the space, from the hanging flowers and chandeliers to the ornate, oversized Edison light bulbs incorporated into the decor. Everywhere you looked, Casey and Nate’s wedding was gorgeous!
Casey, Nate and I hit it off right away. Quirky coincidences like her birthday being a day before mine and her first name being the same as my last name clued us in that this was a match made in heaven! Casey’s smile is just contagious and she just lights up when she and Nate are together. The two met in college and have the cutest first date story: they ended their first night out with a handshake! They even walked into their reception the same way, which was adorable. Nate’s best man had everyone in tears with his heartfelt speech about Nate’s experiences overcoming obstacles and using them to help children with similar issues.
Both Casey and Nate are very family oriented and, at the end of the night, I felt like another member of the family. I clicked so well with her mother, her sister (also her maid of honor) gave me a giant hug, and we all had the greatest time together!
I’m looking forward to shooting more weddings at this venue! You could do almost anything with the space, so there are endless possibilities for brides to transform it into their dream wedding!
