Washington, DC Wedding | Katie & Chris

May 6, 2020

I think we could all use a little dose of the city and greenery in our lives. I think today is a great day to share Katie and Chris’s Washington, DC wedding with you! If you’ve been debating the idea of having a city wedding or your wedding’s locale or setting, listen up! Having your wedding near a city might sound like a traffic nightmare; however, the background it can provide is worthwhile! You can even book transportation for your wedding party to make this easier! Historical cities are perfect for portraits as they have a fair mix of greenery and architecture working together seamlessly.

This is why Katie and Chris chose to have their photos done in DC. This photo location did equate to a little more car and foot traffic; however, it was worth it for the city setting! Furthermore, their wedding also had amazing weather with just a touch of a Fall breeze. This is well-appreciated for October. Check out a few of my favorite moments from their wedding day below!
