I shot Kim and Nick’s engagement session at Oregon Ridge on the most delightful fall afternoon. It was one of those crisp fall days that you wish could happen every day. They decided to bring along their fur-baby Tucker for the session, which added a whole other layer of fun! If the shots of Tucker’s cute little face below don’t make your heart melt, I don’t know what will!
If you’ve ever been to Oregon Ridge, you know that the park has a million places to explore, countless hiking trails and incredible photo-worthy settings. We had no trouble finding areas to capture perfect shots. One of my personal favorites was the stone wall we came across and used for some shots with Tucker.
When Kim, Nick and I met, we immediately bonded over our mutual obsession with an amazing couch from Crate and Barrel. Believe me, if you’d seen this couch, you would understand – it’s as wide as a twin bed! I’m still working on helping Kim convince Nick that they need this couch. Maybe one day, he’ll cave. He proposed to Kim through a surprise scavenger hunt, and her engagement ring is her grandmother’s diamond.
Kim and Nick were complete naturals in front of the camera, which made my job so easy (and, obviously, Tucker has a natural talent for getting photographed too)! We had such a great time hiking the trails at Oregon Ridge and taking beautiful photos celebrating their engagement!
