Wedding days are always full of surprises. As much as we all hope a wedding day will go off without a hitch, there’s always a chance you might need a plan B to get you through a sticky situation! I always pack some essentials for weddings I cover, so I love when brides and bridesmaids bring their own emergency kits to get them through the day! It’s always a great idea to pack a wedding day emergency kit JUST in case you hit a last-minute snag on your wedding day!

From a photographer’s perspective, the timeline is crucial to keeping the perfect times for the photos you want to capture during your big day like bride and groom portraits, getting ready shots, family portraits, and bridal party photos. I broke down the shots that most couples want to be taken during their big day, with some tips for how to stay on track and not fall behind in the wedding timeline! 

At the beginning of each year, the Be More Inspired Wedding Studio hosts a Bubbly Soiree, an intimate get together for brides and their fiances to get to know the partner wedding vendors at Be More Inspired and (what else?) sip bubbly! Throughout the night, Adam from Jamology DJ services announced the winners of the several giveaways we offered to guests, including a free wedding dress from K&B Bridals, a free cruise from Travelworks International, and discounts on photography services from yours truly! 

Life around here has been going and going and going lately! I guess that’s what happens after a winter of hibernating with a new baby. Once spring rolls around- you’re in full swing! For photographers, spring means engagement sessions, family shoots, and the start of wedding season. For moms, it means end of the school year activities, assemblies, field trips, and summer prep!

For anyone who doesn’t know, I’m a huge Joanna Gaines fan. My perfect Friday night consists of my couch and an endless supply of Fixer Upper re-runs. Recently I spent an amazing afternoon shooting a lifestyle home session with the Baileys, Baltimore’s cutest couple and owners of a home that looks like it was styled by Joanna herself!
