Leslie and Dan’s Fall Engagement Session

Last fall on a brisk November day, Leslie, Dan, and I met at St. Mary’s College of Maryland to shoot their engagement session. I have to say, St. Mary’s College and Historic St. Mary’s City have so many picturesque areas that I would happily drive another half a day to shoot more sessions there! We were able to take photos on a dock at a secluded beach AND frolic through fields all in the same session. Great day, if you ask me!

St. Mary’s was an extra special location for Leslie. She graduated from the college this spring, so being able to shoot her engagement photos at her Alma Mater was a wonderful experience for her and Dan. Dan is a police officer, so we made sure to incorporate that into the session by taking shots of him in his uniform and by capturing a close-up of the engagement rings on his badge. Such an original and special idea!

Leslie and Dan’s big day is coming up fast – they’re tying the knot this weekend! I’m so excited to capture their big day this Friday at Pond View Farm in White Hall, Maryland. If you’ve never been to Pond View Farm, it’s a gorgeous farm in rural Maryland that’s the perfect location for anyone planning a rustic wedding!

Not only did Leslie, Dan and I have the best time chasing the light around St. Mary’s College and Historic St. Mary’s City to find the best locations for this shoot, but the shoot was also featured in Southern Maryland Weddings’ Blog! Southern Maryland Weddings is the go-to source for brides in southern Maryland for wedding inspiration and vendors.
