Proposal in Maryland – Karley & Nick

You typically see “Engagement Sessions” that took place long after the actual engagement, as couples book them a little after, but before the wedding. However this groom to be had a different idea. Kayla (Karley’s sister) contacted me months ago asking if I would shoot the proposal. Of course, it was a yes, but plans were not finalized up until the last minute. But that is typically how proposals go anyways. The Airbnb, Summerfield Estate Historical Guest Suites in Glen Arm was so charming and the perfect fit for the event. After Nick popped the question, we photographed a few family pictures, and then what would typically be the “Engagement Session.”
They are currently planning a Spring 2022 wedding and Karley is a blogger who wrote all about their proposal and you can read about it HERE. However, check below for some of my favorite shots from the day!
