Girls Weekend in Charlottesville, VA

Apr 15, 2020

At the end of the wedding season last year Mandi of Chesapeake Charm Photo, Kait from Kait Bailey Photography, Macy Volpe of To Travel and Beyond and I escaped to Charlottesville, VA for a fun girls weekend.

In pure girls trip fashion, we had planned ahead for cheese boards and a private driver to take us to all the wineries so we could fully enjoy them!
We stayed in a tiny Air BnB on a little farm with horses, a donkey named Burrito, dogs, and chickens. It was quite a bustling little place!

We went to Pippin Hill Farm, Jefferson Vineyards, and Castle Hill Cider during the trip. We obviously made sure to photograph every minute of it so no memory was lost. And Saturday we had breakfast at a tiny, tiny place called Pigeon Hole. Which was, without a doubt the best breakfast on the planet that we wore our best athleisure wear too. We got to grab lunch from a place called Take it Away. Then we strolled, shopped and headed back to the house to get ready to hit the wineries later that evening. After the wineries, we returned to the house, took some head-shots, and got ready to head out for the evening. This landed us at the greatest Mexican restaurant of all time, Continental Divide where we ordered half of the menu and devoured it in minutes. Afterward, we went to Jack Brown’s for drinks and 90’s alternative music and it was so much fun! This girls weekend was an absolute blast and I would go on it again in a heartbeat! Check out my favorite shots from the weekend!
