So many beautiful moments from your wedding day need to be captured by your wedding photographer, so many that putting together a wedding day shot list is a must! Between family photos, getting ready shots, and especially photos of just you and your spouse-to-be, we need to build in time for photos with your bridal party (a.k.a. your favorite people!).

Getting Ready for The Big Day

Some of my favorite bridesmaids’ photos happen when the bridal party is still getting ready! The #girlsquad vibes and supportive smiles are just the best! That’s why I always capture some photos of the bride and her ladies during their getting-ready time.

Just the Bride and Her Bridesmaids

Once everybody’s all dressed up and ready to take on the day, it’s time for shots of the bride and the bridesmaids! Not only can you see the color coordination and the styling of the bridal party in these photos, but you can just feel the excitement that everyone shares for their friend as they get ready to walk down the aisle!

Bride and Her Maid of Honor

There’s such a special bond between a bride and their maid of honor, and it would be a crime not to include that in wedding photos! Have at least one photos with your maid or matron of honor to cherish that moment between the two of you!

Groomsmen and Groom

Let’s not forget the guys! Taking photos of the groom and groomsmen is always a fun experience, and they come up with the best ideas for taking some unique photos! From attempting to try on their tuxes to striking serious poses outside, there are a lot of great opportunities to capture the groomsmen in your wedding album!

Groom and Best Man

Just like the bride and her maid of honor, the bromance between the groom and his best man needs to be captured on the wedding day! Just a couple shots while getting ready or waiting for the ceremony to start would make great additions to your wedding photos.

The Whole Party!

What could be better than celebrating your big day with not only each other but with your nearest and dearest friends right by your side? I absolutely love taking photos of the whole bridal party laughing and having the best time together.

Make sure to leave some room in your must-have shots for your bridal party! These are moments you’ll treasure forever and ones you’ll share with your friends for years to come!
