Randie and Katie met me at Cloisters Castle and Cake by Jason for their engagement session! What I loved about this session was the different feels between both locations so that we walked away with some gorgeous and moody shots at a gothic castle plus some super fun photos at a bakery. It was such a fun day filled with some truly special moments!
One of the reasons I love Cloisters Castle to hold engagement sessions is that there are so many great rooms to take photos! From the library to the stone corridors to the outdoor courtyard, there’s so much history and romance in each area of the castle grounds. My personal favorite spot is the spiral staircase!
These high school sweethearts met at Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore, where they both were in the theatre department! Now, almost ten years later, they’re planning a romantic and intimate wedding at 1840’s Ballroom in Baltimore. For their first date, they caught Sherlock Holmes 2 at the movies. Being so involved in theater in high school, they now love going to the theater together to catch any play or musical that’s showing!
Randie proposed to Katie in the most magical place on earth – Disney World! He popped the question right in front of Cinderella’s Castle, and Katie was so surprised when the moment came! I know, best engagement story ever! Cinderella’s Castle is definitely in my top five surprise proposal locations!
I loved the outfit coordination that these two had for their session! Katie’s light blue dress was absolutely gorgeous and fit very well into the feel of Cloister’s Castle. Not to mention, the blue really popped with her crimson hair! Her cardigan was so cute too!
