I love working with clients who are fun-loving, vibrant and adventure-seeking! Victoria and Sam are the perfect examples of my ideal clients in every sense of the word and I’m so thrilled to share their gorgeously rustic glam engagement photos!

Rustic Glam Engagement Session with Victoria and Sam

I first met Victoria during a photoshoot at Rockfield Manor in collaboration with K&B Bridals and Faye Daniel Designs. We spent a sweltering summer day roaming around the beautiful grounds of Rockfield taking photos of some of the new dresses from K&B! I immediately hit it off with Victoria and loved her zest for life and addictive sense of humor! I was so excited to hear from her a few months later about being her wedding photographer!

Victoria and Sam have been together for nearly four years and met shortly after Victoria moved to Maryland. She had started working at a movie theater in Laurel where Sam had been working, and the rest is history! They’re foodies with a love for Indian food and playing video games with each other. Their first date was spent having a quiet dinner in Victoria’s place in Columbia where they had homemade pizza monkey bread and cookies and cream monkey bread for dessert. Sounds like the perfect first date to me!

Their engagement story sounds absolutely magical! Sam proposed during the second day of an Alaskan cruise that he and Victoria had taken with their families. They took a walk to the Mendenhall Glacier, just the two of them, and Sam knelt down and proposed right between the glacier and a waterfall. You couldn’t imagine a better setting for their proposal!

Sam and Victoria’s connection was obvious during their engagement session. Capturing the small and special moments between these two cuties was easy – sometimes it felt as if I wasn’t even there! I absolutely love their outfits too. Victoria’s Adrianna Pappell gown was show-stopping! Stay tuned for their elopement photos hitting the blog in a few weeks!
