Monday Mix-Up | March | Maryland Photographer

Raise your hand if you’re really glad that what was supposed to be 5 inches of snow turned out to be just a coating. Can we get some spring up in here?!

Tonight I’m hosting a cozy dinner at home for some of my favorite wedding industry babes. These are the girls I am in constant contact with, talk through issues, and dream big. Having all of us together at the same time is hard! Between motherhood, work schedules, sports, husbands, coordinating our schedules takes hours of texts.

We caved and baby-proofed the house this weekend. I was so resistant but I just couldn’t handle it anymore! Still trying to think of a solution to keep Dylan out of the dog’s water and food though….

Harry Potter finally happened. I’ve never seen the movies or read the books. Please still be my friend! 😉 It just isn’t something super interesting to me! Brody and Chris have been reading the books and so have friends of ours. They’ve both made it through the first book so we had a movie night together on Saturday and I saw Harry Potter for the very first time. It was LONG. That’s all I’m going to say.

I washed ten loads of laundry. Yikes. How is it that we have this much stuff?! Today I’m tasked with folding it all while simultaneously keeping the dog off the bed.

I can take on a few more weddings this fall! If you’re looking for a photographer or know someone who is, spread the word!

There are some fun projects in the works behind the scenes and I’m looking forward to sharing when the time is right. Nothing like the off season to dream crazy big and try to change the world, right? I’ve been taking a close look at my goals, vision, and planning for the future. Pair the off season with having my knee reconstructed and that equals a lot of time on the couch dreaming.

I hope everyone has a great week!! This week is jam packed with appointments and meetings with an open house to close it all out. What are you up to this week?
