Dan and Felicia | Saint Mary’s Church Wedding | Maryland Wedding Photographer

Honestly, sometimes my job as a wedding photographer doesn’t really feel like a job at all! Dan and Felicia’s wedding truly felt more like fun than work, because I had the privilege of shooting the wedding of a wonderful couple whom I can also call great friends!

This wedding is especially special to me because I have worked with Dan and Felicia a few times since they are both videographers! It’s so fun to chat photo and video with fellow wedding vendors and artists! Knowing how talented both Dan and Felicia are with videography, I was extra excited to capture their wedding photos!

Their engagement story is so sweet – spoiler alert, they went to Europe! Dan popped the question in a picturesque German town, within view of a castle! What a unique and wonderful story to be able to tell for years to come!

The wedding day was filled with rose gold and vintage touches. The groom’s siblings served as the entire bridal party and I loved seeing them all together. Dan and Felicia were married in Saint Mary’s Parish. As they left the church, friends and family blew bubbles for them to walk through. The pictures came out wonderfully too, with the light reflecting off of the bubbles. After the ceremony, we went down to the wooden cross on the beach that is really special to them. The wind was unreal but that just added to the fun! Felicia’s veil lifted right out of her hair and I donated my jacket to keep her warm. Anything for my brides!

The reception followed at the adorable Old Breton Inn. Their bridal suite was so wonderfully vintage, and worked perfectly with Dan’s pocket watch. We also managed to get a couple of photos as the sun was setting. Felicia dropped the cutest little hint about how beautiful the sunset was that evening, so we booked it outside for the last 3 minutes of light! We worked as quickly as we could and I’m glad we didn’t miss the chance. In lieu of traditional best man and maid of honor toasts, anyone was welcome to step up to the mic. Friends and family recounted stories of Dan when he was a young trouble maker, and their good friend (who was the MC for the night) picked up his guitar and sang a beautiful song. The guest list was perfectly intimate and we finished off the night with cannolis.

I’m glad to know these two and hope that we’ll work together in the future. Congratulations on your new life together, Dan and Felicia! I wish you every bit happiness on this new journey!
