Katelynne and Jacob’s Gettysburg Wedding

The sprawling hills of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania were the perfect backdrop for Katelynne and Jacob’s wedding day! Between taking the fun and goofy shots of the bridal party to capturing the beautiful details of Katelynne’s dress and flowers, it was a super fun day and I couldn’t be happier for Katelynne and Jacob!

Katelynne and Jacob are college sweethearts who had to go through long-distance to be together. They are so perfect together – he knows how to make Katelynne laugh no matter what, and she is the sweetest girl. Talking to her always feels like having a coffee date with an old friend! We had a great time shooting their engagement session not too long ago. They were married in Katelynne’s family’s church and got ready at her parent’s house. Her mom had just renovated the living room and I couldn’t have asked for a better environment for shooting in! The weather wasn’t on our side in the morning and it rained for a bit, but cleared up in just enough time to head to the church.

I had a blast shooting the bridal party. They were so fun to shoot, especially while posing on the stone bridge and in a line of golf carts. Jacob’s brother and sister were the Maid of Honor and Best Man.

I’m going to gush about the flowers for a second because they were just drop dead gorgeous! Tierra Blooms really hit it out of the park with the pretty peonies and soft pink roses of the bride’s and bridal party’s bouquets. I couldn’t resist taking close-ups of the bouquets, and it didn’t hurt that they smelled absolutely incredible!

The evening ended with an epic sparkler exit wishing Katelynne and Jacob best wishes as husband and wife!
