Will & Theresa Annapolis Engagement Session | Maryland Wedding Photographer

Annapolis you are my FAVORITE! I was ecstatic when Will and Theresa told me they wanted to do their engagement session in Annapolis! As I’ve said before, there’s just something romantic and dreamy about getting photographed by the water. Trust me, romance was in the air during Will and Theresa’s session. You can totally see how much they love each other by how much they laugh together. They were constantly giggling and smiling the whole time!

I don’t know about you, but proposal stories ALWAYS warm my heart. Will popped the question at Hogwarts castle in London. How adorable is that?! The Hogwarts castle is where they actually filmed Harry Potter. I never knew that until I met Theresa and Will! They’re both huge Harry Potter fans so the castle was a perfect proposal spot. When we met for our consult a few months ago, Will’s face totally lit up when I asked how they got engaged and he got to tell the story… and show me the video! How fun is it to have your engagement caught on video?

I love seeing how couples coordinate their outfits for sessions. I always give them a style guide to help them with the decision making process. I suggest one casual and one formal outfit. After that, it’s up to the couple to choose how dressy or how casual they’d like to be. Theresa wore a gorgeous one shoulder floral top for her casual outfit. I LOVE one shoulder tops because they are so feminine. Will wore a 3 piece suit for his formal outfit and he totally rocked it! I have to admit, it was pretty entertaining seeing him change into his suit in a parking garage!

Here’s a fun fact about Will, he loves fun socks! He wore a pair of blue wiener dog socks with his suit. My assistant and I have a soft spot in our hearts for wiener dogs, so we totally loved that Will incorporated these socks into his outfit! I’m crossing my fingers he’ll wear another pair of cool socks for his wedding. I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.
