Another week full of #adulting has come and gone, and here’s how it all went down!

It’s officially spring! And I think that’s fabulous! The weather here in Baltimore is still totally unpredictable- 80 degrees on Saturday and chilly on Sunday- but hey, we’re all kind of used to it by this point.

We started our flower and vegetable seeds! We’ve got a grow light set up in the basement to help get the seeds going and they’re sprouting already! I’m hoping to get our flower gardens looking a little more polished this year. It’s been a work in progress trying to make it look like a magazine cover!

Speaking of flower gardens… We put a claw-foot tub in our backyard yesterday! We salvaged this tub a few years ago and never did do anything with it. I put it up for sale and with no takers I got on Pinterest- where all of the best ideas come from, right? As it turns out, they make adorable planters! So we’re going to give it a go! It was certainly comical watching Chris and I carry this thing all around our house! It probably weighed 300lbs!

I startled the delivery scheduler from Crate and Barrel on the phone last week. Talk about exceeding my expectations, our custom made couch is ready almost 6 weeks early! I may heave squealed on the phone! The guy did not know what to do, so I had to explain to him that we had been wanting to order this couch for over a year and saved up for it and are just SO excited! So, Wednesday is going to be a good day!

Tax prep. I got it done. Yikes! Owning a business has it’s peaks and valleys and the tax part is definitely a valley. Organizing receipts, mileage, income, expenses, and a whole lot more is kind of overwhelming if you don’t stay on top of it! Not that I would know….. I have my tax appointment with the CPA today, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
