Today I am sharing a gorgeous wedding from the summer! I worked with Amanda Summers Photography (go check her out- she’s so fun!) at Peter and Erin’s wedding at Walker’s Overlook in Frederick. Peter and Erin had a classic wedding with a rustic touch at this gorgeous venue.

There was something about this wedding that really spoke to my heart. Pete is a father of a beautiful 5 year old daughter. She and Pete shared a special dance at their wedding and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t totally sobbing behind my camera! You could really tell that there was a special bond between them and I was reminded of my son during these moments. I actually had my son walk me down the aisle! We shared a special dance, too, just like Pete and his daughter.

Peter and Erin had one of the largest bridal parties that I have ever worked with! They were a ton of fun, though, and we all had a great time together! Peter has three brothers and they collectively gave him a “broast” during dinner! All of their guests laughed and danced the night away. When the DJ played Footloose guests cleared a spot on the dance floor and Pete and Erin tore it up!

They also exchanged gifts that day. Since they both really LOVE Coldplay, they exchanged appropriate gifts. Erin had a custom piece of art made from the sound waves of the song Green Eyes and Pete got them a pair of tickets (with killer seats!) to a concert!
