Monday Mix-Up | On Tuesday! | Maryland Wedding Photographer

Sep 6, 2016

It’s Monday! No… wait, it’s Tuesday. But it feels like Monday. I’m confused. My brain doesn’t know what day it is at all! I was convinced yesterday was Sunday, but that would have meant that I had two Sundays, a Saturday, and a Friday this weekend. I have no idea what’s going on. Where am I? What day is it? Who are you? I kid, I kid! Because yesterday was Labor Day, I tried not to work too hard so I held off my Monday blogging until today!

So here’s a recap of last week around here!

I have discovered the best Pandora station on the planet- Uptown Funk. It’s the perfect mix of a little bit of pop, a lot of superb 90’s rap (Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer.. ), and Michael Jackson. I’m a serious Michael Jackson fan and you just never hear enough 90’s rap, so this is a winner! It helps keep my energy up when I’ve been sitting in front of a computer for hours and I don’t have anyone to talk to all day!

I think our wedding invitation design in finalized! We’re having them custom made! I feel fancy 🙂 The proof will be here in a few days and once that is approved we’ll order! Nothing like waiting until the last minute- these need to go out by October!

I announced what will likely be the ONLY date for mini sessions in 2016! They’re Wednesday, October 5th! It had to be a weekday because I am shooting weddings every weekend until my wedding on December 3rd!

Katelyn and Jimmy got married on Friday! It was perfect! The weather was incredible! Her dress was stunning! And their friends and family were so wonderful! I had never left a wedding before where I’m walking to my car and guests are rolling down their car windows to tell me how awesome I was! Pretty much the bestttttt. Check out a sneak peek below!

We painted our bathroom Saturday! It had been in need since well before I moved into this house two years ago and we finally sucked it up and got it done! We also replaced our finicky light with some pretty cool ones from Lowe’s. We also hit the pool one last time! The water was freezinggggg and I refused to get in!

Sunday I shot another wedding! I worked with one of my favorite people, Shannon Ensor, and we headed up to Lancaster, Pennsylvania for the day. Definitely one of the most emotional ceremonies that we have ever been to. The bride’s father is a minister and performed the ceremony. The couple exchanged letters and shared a prayer before the ceremony began. And Noah’s face when he saw Tracy coming down the aisle was EVERYTHING.

What’d you do for the long weekend?

Have an awesome week friends! And if you want to snag one of the last mini session slots- email me!
