Wedding Wednesday is upon us once again! This time I’m going to introduce you to one of my couples for the year!
Meet Shawn and Marisa! After many years of dating, Shawn finally proposed to Marisa in February! Marisa had been hoping that Shawn would propose soon, but he was waiting until the time was just right. They’re planning their wedding for August at the awesome Star Spangled Flag House Museum in Baltimore. And a Baltimore wedding definitely fits the bill for them! They enjoy heading down to Camden Yards for Orioles games, sitting outside picking steamed crabs, and something tells me that they wash those crabs down with a Natty Boh or two!
When I met Shawn and Marisa, they seemed like a perfect match! We had a great time shooting their engagement session. There was something about watching them together; the way the laughed, the way her looked at her, and the way her eyes lit up around him, there was no doubt that there two were made for each other.
Not only do I love them as a couple, but I loved their style, too! Marisa chose a red and blue patterned dress and wedge heels. Smart choice for walking in the grass, am I right ladies?! Shawn wore a classic button down and slacks that were perfectly ironed. For their second outfits, they chose a slightly more casual look- ‘J. Crew casual’ as I like to word it! They wore perfectly polished layers that made them ready to grace the pages of a magazine. Take note couples- layers photograph amazingly! They add interest and dimension to your outfit!
Lastly, I just have to comment on Marisa’s ring! Also timeless and classic, that sparkler will never go out of style!
I can’t wait for their August wedding! I hope you enjoy this peak at their engagement session and stay tuned for their wedding in just under two months!
