Cait’s Pin-Up Boudoir Session

I love boudoir sessions – they give me the chance to help my clients feel beautiful and confident, and stretch my creative muscles to style the perfect shot! Recently, I was able to work with one of my oldest friends, Cait, to shoot a 1950’s-inspired pin-up boudoir session, and the finished product is fierce!

Of all of the concepts we could have used for this session, I loved the idea of doing a vintage pin-up session. The cherry red, the vintage car, the outfits! It was super exciting to pull this look together. Ever since I have known Cait, she’s loved 1950s style. When she got in touch with me and asked if I was interested in shooting this session for her, I was so excited! I knew this was something she’d been wanting to do for years and I loved that she finally decided to go for it.

I’m obsessed with Cait’s hair and makeup for this session – they were so perfectly done and she even included an adorable little black headband! Her tattoos looked great with the outfits she chose and it was fun to try to showcase them during the session. What made her session even more special was that she was able to incorporate vintage cars. Her family has a garage full of amazing cars, which worked out perfectly for the 50’s pin-up theme she wanted.

I was thrilled to shoot a boudoir session that was a little out of my norm and for one of my oldest friends. We worked together to design an album afterward so that she would have these images in print and it turned out beautifully! Take a peek below!
