This new season as a mother of two certainly takes some getting used to! Baby feedings, diapers, and snuggles mixed with homework, chores, and legos on the floor is not for the faint at heart. Dylan is 3 months old now and I’m starting to get into a groove that works for our family. Now to get into a groove that works for work! So here’s a recap of life in my house lately!

OUR BASEMENT!

It’s 95% finished. I was starting to think I would never see the day where I got to move my office into it’s own designated room downstairs. Today, I’m typing to you from there! #PTL. I’ve upgraded my desk to allow more than one person to work here at a time. I still need to get the closet system installed, but that’s really it for this room. I even moved some of my plant babies to the window here. We’ve set up the family room with a TV, video games, board games, toys, a mini fridge, and our record player. I know that so many memories will be made in this new space.

THE BABY!

By now, I’m sure that you’ve seen Dylan on insta-stories. I cannot believe what a sweet little girl she is! She’s happy, content, and sleeps well. I am a total realist and keep reminding myself that these days are likely numbered, but for now, I’ll take it! She’s hitting her milestones, growing like a weed, and spreading smiles everywhere she goes.

MY BUSINESS(ES)!

In the midst of being pregnant/busy season/ having a new baby, I thought to myself, “self, why not stat a new business, too!?” So I did. I can’t believe it! Bmore Boudoir was officially launched in February and it has been a complete whirlwind! I love the direction that it has taken and I cannot wait to watch this baby grow. ACP has been doing really well, too! I’ve started booking 2019 weddings, which is excellent. It’s reassuring to know I’ll be employed next year 😉 I’m planning out mini sessions for April 15th (email me to get a spot!!), head-shots with fellow photographers, and engagement session for my couples. Can you tell I’m dreaming of warmer weather?
