Jess and Mike’s Fells Point Engagement Session

Fells Point in Baltimore is such a dynamic and exciting place to shoot engagement sessions. There are cobblestone and worn brick, a picturesque waterfront, and iconic landmarks like the Knoll Lighthouse. Jess, Mike and I took advantage of a gorgeous sunny spring day and explored Fells Point to find the perfect shots for their engagement session! As we were shooting, passers-by cheered them on and talked about how adorable they and their happy and energetic golden retriever pup Bailey were. The three of them looked like a perfect little family!

Two true Baltimore lovers, Jess and Mike met in Baltimore nearly four years ago and got engaged on a cold December day in Federal Hill. They are both huge Ravens and Orioles fans. Jess and Mike are super kind and welcoming, and I instantly felt like a friend during our first meeting. They’re extremely warm and friendly people, and are huge nature lovers! I always catch photos of them on their Instagram feeds hiking, running and taking Bailey on outdoor adventures. As dogs always do in these sessions, Bailey made us have twice as much fun during the session. She was so photogenic too with her little purple leash!

I couldn’t resist taking several close-up shots of Jess’s gorgeous and timeless solitaire engagement ring. We took close-ups on the docks, leaves, and on stone, which was a beautiful contrast to the classic diamond. I also loved shooting Jess’s beautiful black lace dress. It looked great next to the water and was such a great wardrobe choice! And, her heels were so on-point!

Their wedding is coming up in October, and I can’t wait! Jess and Mike are going to have an amazing wedding and I’m so excited to shoot it!
