Dream Wedding Venues | A Photographer’s Perspective | East Coast Wedding Photographer

Mar 18, 2019

Choosing a venue to host your wedding is the first step in planning. But there is so much to consider! How many guests it can accommodate, rain plans, lodging, catering… the list goes on! I’m always keeping an eye out for new & unique venues and have put together a bucket list of sorts. So get ready, I’m about to share with you all of my favorite places that I’ve never been! And pay attention to the end of this post- there’s a little gem that you’ll want to take advantage of!

Rosewood Farms
An upscale rustic venue in Cecil County, MD. I spotted this gem on instagram and have became an instantly loyal follower. Their barn is to. die. for. Light walls reflect the light around and gorgeous hardwood floors will compliment so many different decor schemes! I MUST shoot here!

Rawling’s Conservatory
For the plant lovers in Baltimore, MD. This one is for all you plant-loving millennials 😉 There are 5 different greenhouse settings! The lawn is large enough to do a big tented reception or you can use their indoor spaces. Currently, I’m obsessing over the Palm House.

Excelsior
A vintage industrial gem in Lancaster, PA. Ivy covered walls could be the backdrop for your ceremony. Or perhaps you’d like to go indoors with open space, columns, and something of a deconstructed ceiling. It’s absolutely breathtaking!

Habitat at Seya
Somewhat new to the scene, Habitat is getting a ton of buzz! There’s over 3000 square feet of industrial charm with moroccan tile accents and a wood wall. What the what?! Amazing. Please take me here. Except… I may never leave.

There are so many different venues to explore and your wedding planner can help you transform them to fit your individual tastes and dreams! I speak from experience! Enchanting Events and Design helped me to take an historic hotel in Fells Point and turn it into a James Bond gala for my wedding!

Now for the goodies! If you book me as your photographer at any of the venues listed above for 2019 or 2020, I’ll give you $350 off your wedding package! Of course, I have to be available for your date and you must mention this blog post! Happy venue hunting! I hope this is a good resource as you plan your big day. If you’re already married, leave a comment below and tell me what your venue was and why you chose it!
