Earlier this spring I had the pleasure of meeting Caroline and Travis at Cylburn Arboretum in Baltimore for their engagement session. The sun was shinning bright and the gardens were DREAMY! Being surrounded by beautiful trees, luscious grass, and gorgeous flowering bushes was SO romantic. Clyburn Arboretum has become one of my favorite photography spots because of the gorgeous setting and tons of different areas to shoot in.
It's totally obvious that Travis is head over heels for Caroline! You can see how much he loves her as he was holding and kissing her during this session. Caroline and Travis make SUCH a cute couple! They both have such a friendly smile that makes you instantly happy. It's also super fun and worth mentioning that Caroline and I have so many mutual friends including a few past brides I've worked with. Such a small world!
Whenever I'm preparing for an engagement session, I always tell my brides to bring or wear something that is special to them. Either a family heirloom, a homemade blanket, a piece of jewelry, whatever has sentimental value to them! Travis and Caroline brought two Starbucks cups with "Mr." and "Future Mrs." on them. How cute!! They had one of their very first dates at Starbucks so coffee holds a special place in their heart.
So lets talk about Caroline's AMAZING blush dress! If you follow me on Instagram and Facebook, you already know how much I'm in LOVE with her dress. I always suggest wearing a long dress to engagement sessions because it simply photographs well. I was THRILLED when Caroline showed up to the engagement session with her flowing blush colored dress. It truly fit her personality and I loved the lace straps. She had so much fun twirling her skirt for me while I took some fun shots! Travis dressed to impress, too! Right down to the pocket square that Caroline actually made for him to match her dress.
Travis and Caroline I'm looking forward to your wedding next spring! After your amazing engagement session, I can only imagine the beautiful dress Caroline will be wearing and how dapper Travis is going to be!
